Louise Meyers
I have been a member of UUCS since 2004, and a member of several other UU churches since 1994. I have served on boards at two of them and have been involved in multiple committees and activities. I have always felt a deep connection to the Principles and Purposes of UU. I think we are a little known but powerful movement that brings liberal, progressive, and inclusive values to the world. The face of Unitarian and Universalist faith has evolved a great deal from its beginning, and it continues to evolve. This is a healthy and sometimes frightening evolution.
I am intrigued and excited about the direction our church is embarking on, with the retirement of Rick Davis, the hiring of an interim minister and then a settled minister, and would love to be a part of shaping that transformation. I think we have some challenges and opportunities facing us, and it will be an honor to be a part of that. Thank you for the opportunity to be
